Keep Water Pipes from Freezing

Below are some tips in helping to keep pipes from freezing during the extreme cold weather temperatures affecting our area.

1. Seal crawl space, close outside vents and insulate.
2. Insulate water pipes.
3. Install foam pipe sleeves.
4. Use heating tape.
5. Insulate pipe gaps along foundation wall.
6. Insulate box seals and foundation walls in crawl space.
7. Keep bathroom and kitchen cabinet doors open when on an outside wall.
8. Keep a consistent thermostat setting.
9. Disconnect all hoses from the outside of the house.
