2020 Trick or Treat Hours and Costume Contest
Mayor Dennis Estok would like to announce that the City of Knox Trick or Treat hours will be on Saturday, October 31st from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Trick or Treaters are encouraged to look for porch lights that are shining as it indicates a homeowner is participating in trick-or-treating. Residents who do not want to participate should turn off the porch light.
We want to ensure everyone’s health and safety during Trick or Treat. As we continue to abide by the CDC Guidelines for COVID-19, we strongly urge everyone to practice the following:
We encourage everyone to practice social distancing and stay within your group as you go door to door.
Face masks are highly recommended, especially when you are not able to maintain the 6 ft social distancing and interacting with individuals outside of your household.
Residents that are handing out candy are also encouraged to wear face masks and gloves.
The costume judging that is normally held at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center and sponsored by Starke County A.B.A.T.E. is cancelled this year.
We hope that everyone has a safe, healthy and Happy Halloween!
